220 Laptops Head North: Uganda’s Digital Push Reaches the Acholi Sub-Region’s Rural Classrooms

Rural students in northern Uganda are getting a long-overdue upgrade. The government, through NITA Uganda, has handed over 220 laptop computers to schools across the Acholi sub-region, a move that local leaders hope will close the digital gap between Uganda’s urban centres and its northern communities.
